You didn’t mention the Echilada Special (Red Only). Three rolled cheese enchiladas with their good red chile, beans, rice, and a little salad, with sopapillas and the desert for $4.75. You just can’t beat it.

I’d recommend the carne adovada with eggs–fine red chile, good portions, and nice value. Sometimes on Sunday mornings they’ll offer free bread pudding after your breakfast. I live nearby and pop over occasionally.

I have tried it once and I was suprised at what I got for the price. Like the post says, it was simple food, but it was still good food. Don’t judge this one by the outside.

Thanks for the tip. This place has escaped my radar and sounds right up my alley. Any place with cheap New Mexican and Biscuits & Gravy is definitely worth a try.
