And everything on the menu is yummy. My only complaint is the mariachi on sundays. The place much too small and crowded for a 10 piece band and they blow their horn right in you face. You can't even hear yourself think much less talk and socialize. And one of the singers is so off key it's unbearable. :( Go on saturdays instead and avoid all that! Best nm food ever! The red chile here is excellent (that, coming from a person who prefers green chile). My husband loves having their steak fingers at breakfast and breakfast is our favorite meal here. Fried potatoes on their morning plates: to die for. Their refried beans are creamy, wonderful...and what dreams are made of. We don't live in Albq, but we eat here several times per visit. Service is always great.(Oh, what I would give for a bite of one of their sopapillas dunked in red chile right now.) El Charrito’s food is outstanding, and always fresh.
