Reservations recommended on busy nights
The cigarette machine in the entry way is the first sign that you’ve travelled in time to a perfectly preserved restaurant of a time long past.
The dimly lit interior is complete with wood paneling, black iron fixtures, oil lamps on the tables and dark leather booths and chairs. The atmosphere is unique in that this could be a casual family dining establishment as well as a fine dining or meeting place.
The dinner menu is simple, steaks or seafood. The lunch menu offers a lower cost selection of sandwiches and burgers along with the standard fare.
Steaks come with your choice of fries, a baked potato or garlic mashed potatoes. The three course meals are served with fresh bread, soup of the day and your choice of salad (Ranch, Blue Cheese, Thousand Island …).
On average, dinner is between $15-$30.
Paul’s also features a lounge which is popular among regulars.
Recommendation: Prime Rib or if your hungry the Porterhouse.

Best steak in town, BAR NONE.
The Steak was great, I don’t believe the prices were too bad, but reminded me of being in my parents basement from when I was young, and I think my wife and I were the youngest patrons by 10-15 years. Good food though, definitely recommended.
Delicious prime rib, friendly service. Yum.
If you haven’t tried the Lobster tail (huge) . . . you’re missing out!
A lady that works at Ethan Allan recommended Paul’s and it was so good… The prime rib was wonderful!!! Good service, good bread, good salad etc. I live in Gallup, and am always looking for good places to eat when I am in Albuquerque.
