i’ve been here twice, got the huevos rancheros both times. it was okay, but i agree with all the comments about this place being overpriced. the service is regular; the decor makes it seem like a shack in the middle of the woods. i’d recommend once for a quick lunch to try it out.

I personally LOVE this place!! the chiliquiles place is amazing and even though its slightly pricy, its WELL worth it. fresh food, fresh ingredients, happy atmosphere its the perfect package!! cant wait to try his other resturaunt!

I agree with ignatz, I will never eat at Sophias again. The service was very lousy,my boyfriend asked to have red chili over his french fries. The cook (not thinking we seated inside) made the remark very loudly when he read the order “what do they think this is bobs burgers”. I feel that that was very very unprofessional for an employee to say outloud especially with their set up. ( the kitchen pretty much opens up to the dining area). The food was good, but way over priced for the portion. Unfortunatly this resutrant has been crossed off of my list of great places to eat.

Perhaps it’s a victim of it’s own success, but this place has gone downhill. The last couple of times I’ve tried it, the food was oily, carelessly prepared, overpriced and the service lousy. I’m not going back. Plenty of other places in town that are better and cheaper, with similar food.
